Desk

Living Space

I explored my desk for this photo series. I spent so much time at my desk doing homework, business, and just dinking around. It seemed only right that I should explore a space that I spend so much of my life at.

In this photo set I attempted to create abstract images from the clutter on my desk.

Movement

Movement Photography

This photo series is inspired by Ronald Compton. His work portrays movement, energy, and the human body.

I enjoyed doing these photos so much!! I was lucky enough to have two beautiful models to pose for me, and even luckier that they where graceful and understood movement. I believe that I was able to put together a strong set of photos that drew inspiration from Mr. Compton’s work while staying true to my self.

Ronald Compton Inspired

Artist Inspired

I drew inspiration from an artist by the name of Ronald Compton. Mr. Compton’s work is all about movement and the human form. Many of his photos are of bodyscapes, dancers, and flowing fabrics. He does commercial dancer portraits and simple portraits  along with his more artsy work.

Ronald Compton is an amazing photographer with a ability to portray movement and energy. I will be studying his work on my next photo series, and hopefully I will be able to capture the same movement and energy he does.
